Our purpose built mobile wood-fired oven, made to our requirements and specifications, is the first of its kind built by the team at Zesti Woodfired Ovens in Perth. The oven has been designed to have limited environmental impact: it creates minimal smoke emission; all cooking surfaces are made from food safe material; and only a small quantity of wood is required to fuel the fire to bring the oven to top temperature. If no further wood is introduced and all coals are removed, the oven temperature will drop yet retain heat at a level which enables food to be slow cooked for up to 6-7 hours at a constant temperature.
